Born in 1991, Ty Wright has been in the theatre most of his life. After forming a rock band in 2008, called Speak of The Unknown, under the name Ty Righteous, He trained in opera singing and began doing musical theatre. His first appearance in a musical was in The Rossland Light Operas version of The Sound of Music as a minor role. In 2013 he got a part in the Gold Fever Follies, shortly after hosting the 60th anniversary show for the RLOP. Recently, he has been cast in a lead role in a production of Chicago, and after traveling from his home in Fruitvale to Nelson almost twice a week, he is ready for RENT!
